With representatives of contractors participating in the execution, leaders of Ma River District, Huoi Mot Commune, 2 heads of the mountain village, 31 families and locals attended and witnessed this important event.

On the second step of hydropower perron on Nam Cong Stream (Ta Co - Nam Cong 3 - Nam Cong 1), Nam Cong 3 Hydropower Plant will consist of 2 machinery groups, with total 8 MW capacity invested to construct in form of BOO (Investment - Exploitation - Ownership) by Lilama Joint-stock Company 10 with total capital of VND 169,269 billion.

LILAMA 10 starts to build Nam Cong 3 Hydropower Plant

This is the first project invested by Lilama in " Self-performance " way, which means the investor is concurrently the general contractor EPC, performing the project, from survey, equipment design, manufacture, supply to construction and installation. This new method decreases investment capital considerably, increases investment efficiency and shortens capital recovery duration. The project is expected to be executed for 2 years. As planned progress, machinery group 1 will generate electricity at the end of 2009, then machinery group 2 will generate electricity and the project will be completed at the beginning of 2010.

When Nam Cong 3 Hydropower Plant comes into operation, it will provide an annual average of 35.46 million Kwh for the National Grid, contributing to the grids stability, socioeconomic development of the Northern mountainous provinces and the Companys turnover.

Furthermore, Lilama Joint-stock Company 10 is promoting to invest in some hydropower projects of large capacity and size in coming time.
