According to PetroVN, in Quarter IV/2007, Oil and Gas Derrick Building Joint-stock Company (PV Shipyard - Founder Shareholder: Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation &ndash LILAMA, Vietnam Ship Industry Group, etc.) is building new 130m and 90m oil and gas derricks for the Vietsovpetro Oil and Gas Joint Venture Company and Drilling and Oil & Gas Drilling Service Company. The new self-construction of the derrick will make PetroVN possible to deploy the plans for oil and gas discovery, exploration actively, minimizing the hire of this service from foreign contractors.
