| Thang Long Cement Plant prepares interoperation for the entire Plant (11 / 03 / 2008) (31 / 03 / 2008) | | According to the Management Board of Thang Long – Lilama Cement Plant, over the last period, Lilama mobilized a large number of machinery, equipment and means of execution to install 21,818 ton of equipment an and steel structures, including 11,885 ton of equipment, 9,956 ton of steel structures. It is expected that at the end of June 2008, all this work shall be completed so that interoperational commissioning of the Plant shall be carried out on schedule.
At the main power house, the intallation of equipment and steel structures has been basically completed according the set progress, e.g. aggregrate grinding station, rotary kiln and cool clinker, drying tower. Especially, for the item 03.42, Machanical Machine Installation Company has overcome all disadvantages such as delay in site handover, cold climate, hazardous execution site to install ahead of schedule. In other areas such as Job 05 - material feed, Job 09 - clinker silo, 10 - cement grinding, 11 - completed coal grinding to serve commissioning...
In the port area, the installation of the steel structure frame has been completed, it is expected that at the end of March 2008, the entire roofing and at the end of April 2008, the installation of equipment shall be completed...
In parallel with the installation of equipment, the execution of refractory material and conveyor belt work are being carried out by Lilama 69 - 3 in sync in all positions. The cool clinker house has been 85% finalized, drying tower, rotary kiln shall be finalized in mid - May 2008.

Power installation (including cable trays, panel board, lighting system, earthing - lightning arrester, communication) is considered to be an important step that has great impacts on the commissioning schedule of the Plant, therefore manpower, means are being mobilized by units to execute on the set schedule. Thang Long Cement is the cooperation project between Lilama Corporation and Hanoi Generl Import-Export Company, with an output of 2.3 million ton per year, located in Hoanh Bo District, Quang Ninh Province. The Plant applies up-to-date technology of POLYSIUS (Federal Republic of Germany) to manufacture cement by rotary kiln, dry method, with a total investment of approx. 5,200 billion dong. The project involves a main plant situated in Hoanh Bo &ndash Quang Ninh, with an output of 6,000 ton of clinker per day, equivalent to 2.3 million ton of cement per year one special-purpose power plant and a clinker grinding station in the South. Source of raw material for the plant is a stone quarry 3 km away with a belt conveyor system.
