Nghi Son 2 BOT TPPP: Successful Initital firing for the Unit#1
On March 5th, 2021, the EPC Contractor Doosan, Lilama and other contractors celebrated the initial firing for the Unit#1 of the Nghi Son BOT TPPP in site (in Hai Ha commune, Tinh Gia dist., Thanh Hoa Province) under the witness of the Joint-Venture Onwer of Marubeni and Kepco.
According to the scope of work, Lilama contractor would perform a volume of 90% the machanical and electric works for the Nghi Son 2 TPPP. That the milestone of the Unit#1 first firing achieved on schedule would have marked a very important step, becoming a prerequisite for series of testing operations in the next coming time targeting to the coal firing activity by May 2021.
In other to fulfill this before the Lunar New Year of 2021, LILAMA’s managers & staffs as well as other contractors’ that performing the Nghi Son 2 project has made great efforts to complete necessary works to meet the schedule. Formerly, LILAMA and the EPC Contractor Doosan had internally set fire for the Unit#1 on February 09th, 2021.
The Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant Project, which is owned by the Joint-Venture of Marubeni and Kepco, EPC contractor is Doosan Heavy Industries, composes of 02 Units with the total capacity of 1,200 MW (2x600MW) applied with the super-critical technology.
